- The whole of Denmark's population get to contribute.
- Once a year, 12 humanitarian organizations and The Danish Broadcasting Corporation go together to help people in some of the world's poorest countries.
- By this Denmark try to honour some of the UN's world goals.
Fund-raising by the people of Denmark :
- Support girls around the world
- Educate girls
- Prevent child mariage / help neglected brides
